“Pond” skating is popular on the many frozen lakes around Whitefish. Stumptown Ice Pavillion offers public skating, lessons and rentals on a maintained indoor rink. Visitors can also participate in the adult drop-in hockey and broomball games.

Another fun option is to check out “Ice Skating Coffee Club for Adults,” offered at the Stumptown Ice Pavillion. An ice skating professional will offer instruction (and coffee) for drop-ins every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 - 11 a.m.. Cost is $7.
