Two companies provide dog sledding experienced in the Whitefish area: Dog Sled Adventures and Winter Woods Guides and Tours. A 10-dog team carries guests over miles of local forest trails. Guides call out commands as guests glide through a fairy tale winter wonderland nestled in the sleds and kept warm by elk furs.

Short dogsled trips are also offered at Whitefish Mountain Resort one day a week. You can meet for Dog Sled Adventures on Whitefish Mountain every Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Mountain Village, and the resort offers short dogsled rides near the Nordic Center.
