Getting Here

Local art is manifested through paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and pottery, as well as the performing arts, literature and film. The arts and cultural pursuits are intensely vibrant and heartfelt in Whitefish. Take a walk around town and it becomes apparent how expressions of our history, culture and the arts are not just the pursuit of a few aficionados, but woven completely into the community fabric. ![]() ![]() |

One of the top 50 Golf Destinations in the World Whitefish is home to the first 36-hole golf complex in Montana and the rich history of the course will serve as a perfect backdrop to your vacation. Right next to the first tee box, Whitefish Lake Restaurant features fine dining in an historic Montana setting. Built in 1936, the clubhouse features a restaurant that many consider the best in the Flathead, known for Prime rib, baked Alaskan halibut, lobster, Alaskan king crab, Iowa rack of lamb, center cut beef tenderloin, roast duck, and world class martinis. Lunch is served during the summer and a casual evening menu is offered on the patio overlooking the golf course. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
