The Going-to-the-Sun Road was completed in 1932 and is a jaw-dropping 52-mile paved two-lane road that intersects Glacier National Park from west to east. The highest sections of the road usually opens for motor traffic by late June. Before then, the road is car-free and open for bikers and other human-powered traffic.
