New play by local playwright Nick Spear

Ever want to see how a new play comes to life? This new works workshop is an opportunity for our local community to act as an audience and active sounding board for local playwright Nick Spear to fine tune his new play, The Record. The play follows a songwriter, out to find his true voice. Yet, just as this singer decides to make a record, the death of records, from vinyl to CDs, becomes the new mainstream. Now what? Through song, The Record is a touching, at times irreverent, laugh-out-loud quest for the self.
