The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce is an independent, not-for-profit business organization that is dedicated to enhancing the economic vitality of our area, while also protecting the unsurpassed quality of life that we all enjoy.

First established in the early 1900s, the Chamber – with more than 500 active members – is one of the leading advocates for business in northwestern Montana. Our members are involved, committed partners who join the Chamber for a variety of reasons, from 1-on-1 networking and corporate exposure to civic leadership and community service.

The Chamber has a full-time, professional staff that focuses its efforts on improving the Whitefish business environment. We do this by actively promoting tourism; by identifying – and addressing – challenges faced by the local business community; by providing our members with innovative opportunities to market their products and services; and by representing the interests of business at all levels of government.

Recognizing that tourism is the lifeblood of our economy, the Chamber works overtime to bring visitors to Whitefish, and to guarantee that their vacation is as enjoyable as possible. The Chamber operates the city’s official Visitor Center, helping to keep our visitors informed – and busy – once they get here.

Directory & Relocation Guide
Members receive two free listings in our annual Membership Directory & Relocation Guide, which is distributed at the Chamber’s Visitor Center and at leading banks, real estate offices and economic development organizations.

Networking Opportunities
Nearly every week there’s a meeting or event planned to bring members together in groups large and small. From our monthly “Gone Fishin” after-hours to Business Breakfasts, “Lunch-n-Learn” seminars, committee meetings and special events, we’ll keep you busy!

Visitor Center Displays
Chamber members are invited to display their business cards and brochures at our Visitor Center, which is visited by more than 25,000 people each year.
