North Valley Music School is the only non-profit, community music school in Montana. Located in beautiful Whitefish, we annually serve over 600 students of all ages through private lessons, early childhood music, performing ensembles, groups and group classes, workshops and master classes. We also bring music to nearly 1,000 community members each year with our faculty and student concerts and community performances. In 2008-2009 we are celebrating our 10th year of enriching our community through musical education and performance. Our faculty of 15 offers private lessons in Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Voice, Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Harp and Flute. Scholarships are available for all ages. NVMS relies on donations and grants from individuals, businesses and foundations to keep our school running and provide an affordable, quality music education for all (see Support NVMS). NVMS is housed in a historic Whitefish building at 432 Spokane Avenue (Hwy 93), convenient to downtown and schools. We are a member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.
