The Naked Noodle is Whitefish's newest restaurant -- and all about serving real food, very quickly. The menu features made-to-order noodle and salad dishes from around the world that make everyone happy from kids to adults. The owners, Sonja Burgard and Rob Hagler, saw a need for this unique concept that focuses on high quality meals made from scratch for less than fine dining prices.

Customers can grab a quick lunch or dinner in, call in and take out, or even use the drive-up window. Naked Noodle to open in Whitefish

WHITEFISH - A new restaurant is gearing up for its opening day by mastering their recipes and stocking up before turning on the "open" sign.

The Naked Noodle offers noodles and pastas, salads, dine-in and take-out. The dishes are made from fresh ingredients and offer whole wheat noodles, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

The opening of the restaurant in Whitefish has given 14 employees a job during the recession.

The restaurant's Chef, Joe Ditizio, was happy to get back to work doing what he loves. He had previously lost his job as a chef but found temporary work elsewhere.

But, when he heard about the Naked Noodle opening up, he got back in the game as a chef.

"Chef work is almost non-existent in the valley right now. Unemployment rate for cooks in this area is pretty high. It was a great boom to have this place open when it did because I was in desperate need of a job and it's been great ever since."

The restaurant is actually the second Naked Noodle in Montana with the original store located in Bozeman.

Following the success of the first restaurant, owner Sonja Burgard decided Whitefish would make a great location for a second Naked Noodle.

"Well we've always wanted to try this concept in Whitefish and look for just the right location and this spot came up and we think Whitefish is ready for this."

She also says the fine foods come at an affordable price.
