The Glacier Nordic Club, a non-profit, operates the Glacier Nordic Center at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course.  The Center includes 12 kilometers of  skiing and the Glacier Nordic Shop.  The 12 kilometers are groomed daily for skate and classic cross-country skiing techniques, conditions permitting.   Four kilometers are lit for night skiing every day of the week to 10 pm. Trails meander over the Whitefish 36-hole golf course with views toward Big Mountain and the Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Located at the trail head, the Shop rents Rossignol classic and skate gear, offers lessons from PSIA certified instructors for all ages, provides wax services and sells accessories,

Come on out for a ski! It's awesome out there!

More About this Trail

These impeccably groomed cross-country ski trails are ideally suited for the whole family including Grandma and Grandpa as well as the fitness skier. The gently rolling terrain located on the Whitefish Lake Golf Course offers great views of surrounding mountains and lakes. Enjoy a long leisurely tour to soak up these views or stop in after a day of downhill skiing to stretch out before dinner.

Local skiers enjoy the convenience of groomed trails in town to grab a quick evening workout or an enchanting ski after dinner on the lit course. Stop out on a evening after school and watch the training workouts of our Junior Racers in the country.
