Get Teed Off in Whitefish
One of the top 50 Golf Destinations in the World

Whitefish is home to the first 36-hole golf complex in Montana and the rich history of the course will serve as a perfect backdrop to your vacation. Right next to the first tee box, Whitefish Lake Restaurant features fine dining in an historic Montana setting. Built in 1936, the clubhouse features a restaurant that many consider the best in the Flathead, known for Prime rib, baked Alaskan halibut, lobster, Alaskan king crab, Iowa rack of lamb, center cut beef tenderloin, roast duck, and world class martinis. Lunch is served during the summer and a casual evening menu is offered on the patio overlooking the golf course.

Whitefish Lake Golf Course is the only 36 hole golf facility in the area and features all the amenities of a world class resort course. Both the North and South Courses play along tree lined fairways, feature bentgrass greens, beautiful bunkers and exceptional views of Whitefish Lake in the North Course and Lost Coon Lake on the South.

A variety of tees offer the beginner and the experienced player choices and plenty of challenges as they make their way around the courses. It is not at all uncommon to view a wide selection of wildlife including deer, turkeys, geese, ducks, loons and the occasional bear, elk or moose, so bring you camera to record your favorite hole or view.

The North Course now stretches to just under 7,000 yards from the black tees, while the white tees tees will play at a comfortable 6,350 yards. Whitefish Lake Golf Club has some of the lowest rates around and unquestionably the best playing conditions on the finely groomed turf. Enjoy the practice range, rent clubs, eat either on the fantastic new deck or the formal dining room of the rustic log clubhouse.

The North Course is a more traditional design that dates back to the 1930's for is start as a nine hole course. There are enough changes in elevation to make the course interesting, but walk able if you desire. The South Course is more of a shot-makers design and will allow the player to use every club in their bag as they manage their way around the course. Water comes into play on six holes on the South Course, but that very challenge affords great views and variety. The greens throughout the whole facility have been re-built to modern standards with undulation that remains playable.

Whitefish Lake Golf Club is the most requested golf destination on Montana and both course have been consistently rated in the top five by Golf Digest. The courses were ranked one of the top 50 Golf Destinations in the world. A great temperate climate allows you to play all day long with daylight extending up to 16 hours during the peak summer season.
